The restaurant, located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, is a contemporary reflection of the rich cultural tapestry the city has to offer. While maintaining clean lines of design, the space reflects traditional elements that are inspired by the regional architecture. Every element has been carefully designed to achieve the overall intent. Starting from the entrance doorway, the beveled glass is a contemporary twist on the traditional temple door of South India. Completed with brass accents and a gilded peacock, this is a true reflection of the city. The temple theme carries through into the interior with the stepped ceiling that is inspired by the many Gopurams in the City.
